About Ladabo

Ladabo is a set of free financial calculators. That is the whole product.

Why it exists

Search for something like "mortgage overpayment calculator" and you will land on a page that makes you scroll past two thousand words before you reach the box you came for. The words are not there for you. They are there because someone believed a search engine wanted them.

Ladabo puts the calculator at the top and the explanation underneath, where you can read it if it is useful and ignore it if it is not.

What it does differently

The arithmetic runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server, logged, or stored. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and every calculator still works.

Every page shows its formula. If a number looks wrong, you can check the working rather than trusting it.

Every page says what it does not cover. Every calculator on this site is a simplification of something more complicated. The "What this doesn't cover" section on each page is not legal cover — it is the part most likely to change your decision.

How it makes money

Through advertising, and only that. There is one Google AdSense advert at the top of each page, below the menu. There are no affiliate links, no sponsored placements, no email list and no paid tier. Nothing on this site is sold, and no calculator result depends on what anyone pays. What the advert means for your data is set out in full on the privacy page.

What happened to the articles

Ladabo previously published several hundred guides and software reviews. Most of them were produced quickly and at volume, and they were not good enough to justify anyone's attention. They were removed in 2026 rather than tidied up.

The calculators stayed, because a calculator either gives you the right number or it does not — and these give you the right number.

Corrections

If a calculator gives a result you believe is wrong, please say so. Include the numbers you entered and what you expected. Corrections are the most useful thing anyone can send.
