What Ladabo is

Ladabo is an independent finance education platform. We help people and businesses make smarter money decisions through three things:

  • Free calculators — for budgeting, investing, business planning, and tax math
  • Plain-English guides — covering everything from personal finance to crypto to AI in finance
  • Research-based reviews of AI finance tools — so you can find the software that actually helps

What Ladabo is NOT

Important to be upfront:

  • We’re not licensed financial advisors
  • We don’t give personalised investment advice
  • We don’t sell financial products
  • We don’t partner with banks or lenders
  • Our reviews are research-based syntheses, not personal hands-on testsread how we score

We’re an educational publisher — like a library, not a financial firm.

01

Independence first

Our review scores come from systematic research, not affiliate commissions. We score each tool against a fixed set of criteria before checking what it pays — and we recommend tools with no affiliate program when they’re the best fit. See our full review methodology.

02

Plain English only

No financial jargon. No insider language. If our grandmother couldn’t understand it, we rewrite it.

03

Transparency about money

Every affiliate link is disclosed. Every sponsored relationship is marked. See our full Disclaimer for details.

04

Educational, never prescriptive

We explain how things work. We don’t tell you what to do with your money. That decision is always yours — ideally made with a qualified professional.

05

Research-based reviews, transparently labelled

We do not personally test AI finance tools with our own bank accounts. Our reviews are syntheses of public sources — App Store and Google Play user reviews, Trustpilot, BBB, Reddit communities, expert reviews from established publishers, and the tools’ own documentation. We’re upfront about this approach on every review and in our methodology page.

06

Updated regularly

Finance changes fast. Prices, features, and tools update constantly. We re-run the research and update content as the landscape evolves.

Who’s behind Ladabo

Valentine Pereira founded Ladabo in 2024 with a simple goal: cut through the noise of finance content and help people genuinely understand their money.

Based in Munich, Germany, Valentine spent years navigating personal and business finance in multiple countries — and got tired of:

  • Generic finance content that doesn’t actually teach
  • Affiliate sites that rank products by commission, not quality
  • Financial jargon that locks people out of basic concepts
  • AI tools that promise the world but deliver chatbots with no soul

Ladabo is the response: honest, educational, research-driven. No sales spin.

🎯

Honest

We tell you the truth about tools — including when they’re not worth your money, and including how we did the research.

🧠

Educational

Our job is to teach, not to sell. You leave smarter than you arrived.

🌍

Global

Finance principles are universal. We write for everyone managing money, anywhere.

Useful

Every page should answer a real question or solve a real problem.

Where we’re headed

Ladabo is just getting started. Here’s what’s coming:

  • 50+ free calculators across personal finance, investment, loan, business, crypto, tax, retirement, and everyday utilities (52 live so far, with strong home-buying, Australian-mortgage, and retirement-planning clusters)
  • 200+ in-depth guides covering every major finance topic
  • More research-based AI tool reviews across categories
  • Honest comparisons that help you decide between options
  • Original data and statistics you won’t find elsewhere
